Halloween show!!!!! (L_Hunters+Jumpers)

Bareback

Odin was so good. Our first class was bareback walk and trot, and we placed first. Then we had ride a buck, and we got tenth because he kept throwing his head and hollowing his back. So, after we dropped our dollar, we just trotted a little bit to try to get his head down, even though we were out.

Gaming

Our first class of gaming was the egg and spoon, and we got second. Then we had all of our barrel classes, and Odin was so good. He did stop in the speed barrel as we went around the top barrel because he lost his hind end in the turn. But other than that, and his victory buck in the cloverleaf barrels, he was great.

Western Flat

Our western flat was really bad. He kept anticipating the canter, so instead of following directions, we just focused on relaxing the trot.

English

Because of how bad our Western flat went, we moved into the walk, trot English flat classes instead of doing the ones with the cantering, and we just worked on relaxing while following directions. Then we had our hunter hack and all the 2' and 2'3'' were judged together, so all the 2' riders went, and I was last to go for 2'3'', and everyone (including me) thought I was going to die. Because of him anticipating the canter, we just trotted in, and when we stopped at the cone, I couldn't see it, so I wasn't 100% sure how we did. We ended up placing first, and even J had us ready for last place because of how he was at Williamston and in our other classes.
