Auggie was AMAZING (O_Eq)

 Today I rode Auggie! As you see from the title of this post he was amazing!!!

We started off walking a few laps each way, then trotting a lot of laps each way. I did a little bit of no Stirrups. Once we were done walking and trotting I got him to canter, first on his good way and he was a little lazy so I had to get him going forward a lot. Then we cantered on his bad way. On his bad way he never likes to pick up his right lead (but he will on jumping courses and on the flat to but we have to retry a few times until he gets it) so we had to trot a few circles and then canter  and he got it on like the second try! And he was more forward and awake this way so it was a lot of fun! After a lap or 2 of that we walked and I set up some pole courses and a little log. We cantered a few pole courses and he was speedy and forward which is the speed I like him to go😅  I definitely prefer when he is speedy instead of lazy! So I had so so much fun and he did a lot of work. Our last little jump to end the ride was a little log that he did perfect on! And after that he got a lot of pats and a lot of walking in the yard and a little on the trails and yeah that was it!! He got so many pats and treats after, and of course he had to roll once he got untacked😂 I had so much fun and I also felt like I rode good too!❤️
