I WENT EVENTING (M_Equestrian)

 Yesterday I had my first full event!!!!!! I'm so happy with how we did and i cant wait to go eventing again!! 

SATURDAY
We schooled on Saturday so we were able to do some of the things for the cross country course and school in the dressage ring because there was a very scary car there and it was our first time showing in a grass dressage ring. We also got to school the show jumping course so we could plan our turns and pace.

SUNDAY

Sunday was the actual day of competition and it was great! We had to get there really early because one of the riders in our barn was showing at 9am and we had a break after that because i didn't have my dressage test until noon.

I got a 30 in my dressage test and I'm so happy about it! it went really well and it was one of my best tests! After my dressage we had a break so we were able to eat lunch before we needed to show jump, for the show jumping we were jumping in our cross country gear because we went right out into xc after we finished show jumping. We went double clear in our jumping and I was so proud of him!

after show jumping we had cross country and it went really well! we started off nicely but then we passed where the trailers were parked and his pasture mate Raulf screamed for him and Brooks was just done with cross country after that but we got through it and went double clear. so we finished on our dressage score!!!

Overall we did really well for our first time eventing and I couldn't have asked for a better ride! We placed second out of 8 riders!!!!!
