Meet Brooks (M_Equestrian)

 Meet Brooks!!!

He's my lease pony for this year! 

He started out as a very green wiggly pony who had just started under saddle a couple months before I started my lease on him. He was definitely a challenge for me at the start, I had a huge confidence knock right at the start of my lease and right before our first show and I was still really sad about not leasing Cyrus, it was a really hard time and I would have traded anything and I mean anything just to get Cyrus back but as the months went on we started to do good and in May we had our first off site event and it was so good you could see how much he trusted me and I knew I couldn't give up on him. It took quite a bit of time for me to realize that leasing brooks was giving me the abilities and the knowledge no other horse could ever give me not even Cyrus could give me some of the things brooks has taught me.

Brooks definitely lives up to his show name (Brooks-A-Million) because he truly is a pony in a million. He doesn't live up to the stereotype of evil pony because he doesn't have an evil bone in his body he is the sweetest pony I have ever met and he takes a bit of time to start trusting people but once he trusts you he trusts you with his life. I'll remember every memory I have with him and I'll cherish every bit of time we have left.
