About (O_Eq)

 Hey! I am O_Eq! I have grown up around horses my whole life, so I basically started riding when I was 2 which was 12 years ago. I am mostly a all around rider, but I mainly enjoy jumping of all disciplines the most! I love hunters, jumpers, and eventing even though I have actually never done dressage before or showed in eventing but I love the idea of it and I love to school xc! I would love to learn more about it and try a whole event sometime but for right now I'm mainly just a hunter jumper! I have 2 horses that stay at my dads house that I see and ride every other/2 days. I bought my first horse 3 years ago (Charlie) a Halflinger that is 13.3- 14.1hh he is my heart horse! He was in a rough condition when we got him but very healthy now! We thought he was 10 when we got him but we found out this year he is in his 20s, he is very healthy and happy so he looks younger 😅, but unfortunately we found out a year after we bought him that he has some stifle issues, so I can't jump him or do anything more than walk/trot/little cantering, Even though I can't do some things with him he still is and will always be my heart horse forever! I love him to death! I do some low level flat class shows with him sometimes I ride him English/ western but mainly bareback! My 2nd horse (Auggie) he is a bay quarter horse cross so a quarter horse mixed with a Tennessee Walker and some Arabian! He is 15-15.1 hh and is 18 years old! He loves to do almost anything but will get bored doing the same things and excersizes so sometimes we have to change things up that will be challenging and new for him. Me and him do the jumping disciplines that I listed earlier together anywhere from 18''-2'3. We do other things to like trail riding, barrels, and bareback. My grandma originally had Auggie since he was first born. He was a trail horse his whole life until she gave him to me! He still is a trail horse and loves trails we go on the trails almost every ride, especially to cool him down after jumping or flatwork! I also love Auggie to death and he is like my 2nd heart horse because me and him have a special connection and I have a special connection with Charlie to but both connections with each of them are different so Charlie is probably my heart horse because he was my first ever horse so its a little different but Auggie is definitely up their too lol! I basically love them both equally the same in all of their different ways! I also take lessons at the same barn as my 2 best friends do on this blog! I only take lessons once a month and 2/3 ish shows a year and take Auggie for the shows at our barn too! our barn does hunter and jumper shows that I will do with Auggie and every Halloween they do a Halloween show with fun western/jumping/ bareback/and dress up classes! I usually do the whole Halloween show with Charlie on the walk/trot classes and dress up! and maybe Auggie for the jumping classes! my older sister usually claims Auggie though for that show so she can do the western stuff with him but that's okay with me since I have Charlie!
